Dr. Reham El-Tahawy is a highly professional lead engineer in the structural department of rmc. She has over 17 years combined experiences in structural design, design management, teaching design courses (such as Reinforced Concrete Structures) at Ain Shams University, and technical research. In addition, she is a specialist in the design of post-tensioned slabs and in the repair and strengthening of existing structures with different techniques/materials such as employing fiber-reinforced polymers.

Dr. Reham excels at leading structural design work, achieving the optimization and cost saving for structural designs, attending to client requests, and meeting schedules. She has proven a high ability in problem solving, providing support for multiple concurrent priorities, and preparing technical reports. Her high technical and administrative skills are well-recognized.

Dr. Reham has an innate ability to provide innovative structural systems and then leading the structural design for diverse types of these structures (underground, multistory buildings, and towers supported on shallow/deep foundations) from concept to tender stages according to International Codes and Standards while using cutting edge structural programs.

 

Along with her high commitment and professional skills, Dr. Reham has a deep understanding of consultancy services that allowed her to excel in her role as the interface between rmc and their clients and stakeholders.
