Dr. Usama’s varied 35 years of experience in the field of Structural Engineering Design with a demonstrated history in Civil Engineering industry which afforded him the opportunity to design many mega and diverse structures in Egypt, Dubai and throughout the Middle East and Europe.

Dr. Usama has a vast array of experience and solid theoretical knowledge gained through many years of designing and teaching that has highly enriched himself and the structural engineering community of practice. He has managed large-scale design projects as per the best practice guidance considering initial planning and bidding processes; including reviewing environmental factors, government regulations, constructions costs, and risk analysis reports to prepare comprehensive study on all relevant design factors. He is an expert in forensic engineering with an instinct for identifying the precise and appropriate repair.

He has proven success record in designing, checking, leading, and performing structural engineering for design projects such as high rise multi-use complex structures, hospitality, residential, commercial, medical, educational, industrial buildings,  recreational, military, and research facilities in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, England, Libya, Sudan, and Algeria.
